BRIEF SUMMARY
Macy takes a job at a Halloween party hosted by demons. Once the party becomes too much for Macy, with its kinky games, she leaves. When she decides to leave she meets Sheriff Jake and her night took a turn for the worst.

THOUGHTS

This was an interesting novella as the story isn't bad but it isn't great, it was a good concept and a very likable story. The story takes us on a quick ride based on this one night at a Halloween party. Macy and her friend Cyan, is working this party for extra cash. While there, they've heard about a demon living amongst humans and what he needs in order to survive on Earth. The story is centered on Macy as the plot unfolds until the demon emerges. Physically, the party got kinky, but I wanted a bit more which would have sent me over the edge, mostly, Jack and Macy’s scene. Although with the twist, I don’t know how far it would have taken them.

Nevertheless, once the twist and Jack enters the story, I became engaged and even a bit excited with what was taking place. I think if this becomes a series, exploring more of the characters and the concept, this would be a good series. Based on the story line and the length of the novella, I liked it.

BRIEF SUMMARY
Since the great awakening, vampires and humans have lived together. With the peace created amongst them, that peace is disrupted when bodies turns up. These bodies show signs of vampires who once terrorized Europe. Now Dara, the chief of The Bureau and Anthony, the head of the vampire council who were I involved centuries ago must now work together.

THOUGHTS

As this was the authors first novel, I found it different and engaging. I was definitely taken to another world in which the author sets the foundation for (The Dream- The Walker) series. Instead of just the usual fangs and your typical vampire settings, we were given telepathy, telekinesis, aged old vampires, vampire council, the bureau, and humans living amongst non-human. A mix of formulas that I believed presented me with an interesting read. Also, each chapter starts with a notations referring to that chapter and it was telling.

Dara and Anthony complemented each other. In the beginning, they had this tug and pull chemistry and relationship, as Dara still despised Anthony for the past. I enjoyed what the author did by periodically going from past to present showing their connection and their history together which was nearly two centuries ago. As brief as it was, I enjoyed their actual meeting in 1808. There is nothing better than reading the characteristics of vampires but also their surroundings, which completes the atmosphere of the story that pulls you in. I also enjoyed the other characters, especially Chris, Dara's friend. I enjoyed her charisma.

With an engaging climax and plot I enjoyed it. There were a few up and down peaks throughout the read, but the story still had me going.

The Sands Of Time by Dianna Hardy

BRIEF SUMMARY
Pueblo has bonded with a witched named Amy before she disappeared. He is trying to find her along with the others such as demons, witches and angels that he has befriended. Somewhere else, unknown, a woman called Elizabeth tries to commit suicide and is found by her husband. As time goes on, Elizabeth put the pieces of her life back together to reveal who she really is.

THOUGHTS (May contain spoilers)

This was a good continuation in The Witching Pen novella series. The Sands of Time was more in depth with the characters from the pervious book, as a lot of questions were answered. Elena and Karl from book 1 were involved in book 2 as well as Gwain and Mary. The author periodically gave us scenes with each character and couple as each of their plots develops as we learn more about angels, demons and witches. I would advise the reader to read book 1, The Witching Pen first to get a better feel of the characters.

The Sands of Time picks up from book 1 as Amy, Pueblo's bonded is missing and Pueblo tries desperately to save her. Pueblo is half dessec, half human and a shapeshifter and is working with Elena, Mary, Karl and Gwain to find her. Finding Amy won't be easy, as she is trapped in time. Both Pueblo and Amy's story was good and interesting the way the author shows them separately as well as their union. The only flaw I will say is that I wanted to see them together more within the story. However, make no mistake on how interesting the other story lines are that cohesively worked well as the story becomes darker. For me personally, I felt as though this book showed maturity with each character's charisma.

The other characters have my attention as Gwain and Mary's story is one I am looking forward to as the author began piecing their storyline together. My excitement grows with each book created within The Witching Pen series and I eagerly await book 3.

Risking Eternity: A Vampire Romance Novella by Gwenan Haines

BRIEF SUMMARY
Hayden is a cop in Boston, investigating a string of murders that involves prostitutes. During her investigation, she comes across a stranger, Valentin, who has been watching her since the start of the murders. Valentin has been tracking down this serial killer since London, for centuries and needs Hayden’s help. While he feels an unknown connection to Hayden, Valentin, a vampire, needs to explain his history in order to get the help he needs from Hayden.

THOUGHTS

This was a much unforeseen plot with a riveting storyline that was quite engaging. Within the first two chapters, I was unsure where the story was taking me, and I was unsure about Valentin. However, there is nothing like an unexpected turn in a story that catches you off guard. This story had depth to it the further it progress, as a foundation to a series is being created. Valentin’s vampire characteristics were very much appealing as he had a presence that was alluring and a bit unwelcoming as well that adds to his appeal. I say unwelcoming because I couldn’t figure out Valentine along with his true motives. Hayden is focused on her job and has no excitement in her life. The moment both characters met, it was interesting.

Reading about Valentin’s past as he explains it and the connection to Jack the Ripper, and his long time nemesis was a surprise and had me glued to the novella to read more. This was definitely a well packed novella that readers can enjoy especially for its storyline.

The only thing that might disappoint readers is the cliff hanger ending that leads to a full length novel that we patiently have to wait on. But I do feel this is an author to watch out for with her next paranormal book.

In order to get protection, she bonds with Robert Valentine, the eldest son of the most powerful vampire family. However, her secret could bring destruction and war.

THOUGHTS

Bravo, to the author, on what I though was a stellar performance with this story. I went into reading this story not knowing what to expect, and I finished feeling hyped for the next book in the series. I thought ‘The Valentines: Robert’ is the start of a good foundation to a series. I appreciate and enjoyed the scenery, the action, along with the physical characteristics of vampires and werewolves that were created. Although this is a novella, the author still manages to incorporate a lot of information that explained everything so well. With talks of the council, humans, vampires, werewolves and mystical beings, this story does not disappoint.

I felt like we were almost given two stories, Robert and Sophie, along with William and Katie. William and Katie are both Robert and Sophie’s brother and best friend. Although it felt like two stories, William and Katie’s storyline within the book never overshadowed Robert and Sophie. Both of the main characters were intriguing the moment they met, bonded, reconnected and stayed together. Robert was definitely Alpha, he gave me shivers most of the time throughout the story and it doesn’t hurt that his family is apart of the strongest and most powerful vampires in the world. Sophie was inexperience  but did what she had to do with Robert to accomplish her goal. Of course, their physical chemistry was an added bonus.

Katie was the key with everything that is brewing between the vampires and werewolves and I can’t wait to read both William and Katie’s story. We were briefly introduced to the rest of the Valentines family and I eagerly await their stories.

This book has a little bit of everything: adventure, romance, shapeshifter etc.... action packed from beginning to end!! All the characters are strong and play an important role in the story..... The ladies are tough and the men are rough! I loved the romantic tension between many of the characters. An enjoyable read!

I applaud Tori Scott for her excellent writing style that has grown a lot.

Ladies, welcome to Vampirerotique, where I would love my pleasures to be dealt with. This theater harbors four delicious vampires, Javier, Callum, Antonie, and Snow and they are the owners of Vampirerotique. Covet is Javier’s story, as he struggles with his desires for Lilah, who is human and belongs to another who is more powerful than Javier.

This story for me was extreme heat at its finest as it felt like a long seductive and sensual foreplay between Javier and Lilah. Their forbidden love definitely heightens the attraction to the reader as they are aware and tries to prevent succumbing to each other as neither can control their desires. Their moment in the private box at the theater while watching an erotic sexual performance sets the pace for the rest of their moments together.

The climax of the story was just as good when Lilah’s keeper comes to claim her and wreaks havoc on the vampire who dares or try to violate his claim over, Lilah. This moment was exciting for me because there is nothing better than seeing angry vampires in a room together. All these vampires in a room together was such a turn on and I’m eager for their stories in this series. I enjoyed getting to know each vampire a bit; however, I don’t know how old Snow is, but with his temper and the mystery surrounding him it makes me want to know more about him.

The author, Felicity Heaton, created a theater, which made me feel as though I wanted to be apart of it with its erotica performances. Fans of paranormal erotica will surely feel satisfied once they’ve reached the end of this story of forbidden love.

As a vampire, the last three years for him has been torture when he isn’t around, Gabrielle, and not doing anything about it may cost him. But what may even pull them further apart is the murder that takes place that leaves Gabrielle not being able to trust Nikolai.

THOUGHTS

The opening of this novel was very good for me. As a four hundred year old vampire, it showed how deep Nikolai’s feelings were for Gabrielle. His every waking thought was to constantly think about her and what she was doing as he knew Gabrielle was his mate and he aches to be with her. Gabrielle’s feelings were also mutual. I think what the author did with both characters I found appealing, as their gravitational pull for each other was endearing. However, what also makes it more appealing were the barriers they always faced trying to be with each other before and after the murder. My interest was already peaked at the beginning of this story, but spiked even more after the murder of someone close to Gabrielle.

I definitely found the other characters, Gustav and Vincent likable, as I love Gustav’s life style, top that off with a villain who happens to be scorned, I found this story to be very interesting. If you are familiar with the author’s writing style with her use of characters and intimacy, then you will love this book.

The Demon's Seduction by Lisa Alder

BRIEF SUMMARY
The Demon's Seduction is Zapar's story. Zepar wants to find a human companion, as it was recently discovered, to win against the Faes are the love of a humans. So, being the Demon of Seduction, finding love should be easy for Zepar, however, it's not so easy.

THOUGHTS
Ok, as a reader, you're either going to love this book or you're not going to like this book. If I may, it also depends on the reader's freak level, in regards to how far, sexually, you enjoy your erotica books.

The Demon's Seduction picks up from book two, To Summon a Demon with Zepar and Leraye still in the form of a stone. I liked that Zepar was ready to find love, but his luck with finding it is not working. He gets, Thalia, who services the demons sexually, to help find potential interest. Thalia and Zepar, tip toes around each other as it is obvious they want each other, but Zepar is clueless to realize, until his friend, Leraye, demon of battle wants Thalia, as well.

What I liked about this story was the chemistry, it was explosive. With a brief and short description on what the book is, I liked that the author kept me wondering what will take place and who will end up together without being confused. With the demon being the demon of seduction, I think the author lived up to the erotic aspect of the book. Although, I will say, at times, Zepar seemed a bit clueless. I think the author went above and beyond sexually, exploring the connection with each character.

What disappointed me a bit was the paranormal aspect of the story. I don't know if this is the last book in the series, but I didn't get closure on the war between the Faes and Demons. The story was fully based on Zepar's task at finding love and everyone’s sexual journey. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the third installment within the novella series. This story is very explicit sexually and verbally, as well, it contains m/m/f action.

BRIEF SUMMARY

Now that he has her were he wants her, they're now face with a power that Aylia, possess. This power is a blessing and a curse that Nico, has to protect. If this power is no longer in existence or is taken away, it could destroy, Aylia.

THOUGHTS

Wow, every page kept getting better. My quote from my last review within the vampire warden series of 'Hot Vampire Touch', "Nico is Alpha and an appetizer to what I predict to be another great series by the author; and judging by the epilogue, I can't wait" This story was what I thought it would be, and more, deliciously good. With 'The Vampire Warden' series I felt like I was in vampire heaven. With the 'Werewolf Society' series, it's raining werewolves.

Nico is the alpha male that most readers love to read about. He has Alpha werewolf tendencies that are possessive and sexy, along with oozing dominance around him. Also, what a way to close out this year, with a new series and Nico's story. Aylia was a witch, though powerful in what she does, you sense her vulnerability, especially around Nico. However, once these two came together, their chemistry physically was unbelievable, along with the plot of the story line that will take place throughout the series.

Though this is a start to a new novella series, and depending on the reader, this book probably wouldn't be a stand alone. The reader is thrust into a bit of action within the first few chapters with familiar faces from 'The Vampire Warden’ series. So, I would recommend reading all three books within the series or the last book, 'Hot Vampire Touch' first. We also got to meet Nico's second and third Alphas in command, Kole and Jackson. They sound interesting and you can look forward to their story.

Maggie has had a tough life losing the people she loves. She moves back home into the little cottage left to her by her grandmother. While there, she became close friends with Rhiannon and Esther, and has a crush on the sexy deputy, Jed. Jed, is a spirit walker, he is able to travel outside his body. He also has a thing for Maggie and is waiting on the perfect time for her.

****THOUGHTS
I liked the story and was eager for Esther and Maggie's stories. In Maggie's story, even though I liked the story I had a few dislikes but nothing I can't over look to enjoy a nice story. I did enjoy what the author did with the follow up story of Maggie and Jed. Instead of a follow up story from Rhiannon and Ryland's story, the author is showing the same events that took place in book 1 but from different views of each individual character of Rhiannon, Maggie and I would assume Esther. I also enjoyed the storyline for Maggie's story. Maggie was a relate able and lovable character. Jed was sexy and I liked his character. Their steamy sex scenes was hot so a plus for that.

What I did not like was the progress in the beginning of the book or certain areas, sometimes this can make a book seem as though it is dragging along. I enjoyed the concept and what the author did with the characters, but the book length is 1994 and Maggie and Jed didn't actually talk to each other until 640. Nevertheless, I have to admit the author did give us an interesting first chapter. Book 1 was much longer, but I think the author was establishing the story for the upcoming stories of Maggie and Esther. I also wanted the author to show more of Jed's ability as a spirit walker, that appeal was an exciting part of the read.

The Omegas by Annie Nicholas

Sugar lives next door to the Omegas, a pack of werewolves. The pack was created for outcast and geek werewolves who never belonged. The pack leader is Erick. Erick contracted a vampire named Daedalus to help his pack consisting of himself, Sam, Tyler and Katrina to fight an opposing pack of Chicago. While helping the Omegas, Daedalus falls for Sugar but he does not like mixing business with pleasure even though she is not a werewolf.

I was spilt in the middle with this book. I did like the storyline but the execution seemed ok. It does not really take much for me to not like a book, but the whole time I am reading I was thinking this book reminds me of a Young Adult Paranormal without the sex of course. It came across teenybopper and simple even though they are all adults. However, I still found myself reading and feeling attached to the characters. Sugar seems sweet but Daedalus was not mean enough but he still seem sexy. If you are looking for a dark paranormal romance this really is not it, it is simple and corky at the same time ok.

When she is home at her sister's house, she cannot believe Sugar is dating a vampire and is shocked how much geeky Eric has grown. Erick has always loved Spice since they were small and now that she has returned home, his attraction to her is as strong as ever. Now that Eric has taken over the Ayumu pack, he is the new Alpha of Chicago and will soon be force to take a mate, which might become a problem because Spice is human.

This was the second book in the series and again I am split in the middle. I really liked the series but again the storyline was good but the execution was not to my liking. I love the whole geeky werewolf thing but I think Eric could have been a bit more sexy. His description made him sound sexy but the geek just took over. Sexual acts in book 2 were more and a little better than book 1 but the ending could have been a little better. If they want to have sex in front of the pack good for them but since it was special for Eric the author could have given him a special moment before the whole onlookers.

'Til Death Do Us Part by Dianna Hardy

Aria, was a mermaid who has made a choice to be completely human. A witch has granted her what she desires but this could cost her her happiness.

THOUGHTS

This was an interesting tale with a twist of 'The Little Mermaid'. The best way to describe my take on this story, it was happily sad with a love that was lost and found; It's a story of love, sacrifice, and choices.

Aria makes a choice with a witch some years ago that left her with amnesia that lets her forget what and who she was. This choice lets her be with the one she wants, but at a price. With that choice, it had an affect on the people around her who included a God that has come for her and wants to possess her after many years of trying to find her.

This was a fast pace novella with an interesting twist, an old fairytale concept, along with the author's imagination that allows you to view The Little Mermaid differently. I'm not sure how other readers will receive this book, but I really liked it.

Vasilije is vampire who answers to no one and does as he pleases. This produces one of his own to be killed. On a quest for revenge in New Orleans, Vasilije, crosses path with Sasa, who could be his downfall.


THOUGHTS (May or may not contain spoilers)

Bravo to the author, Gabrielle Bisset, on what was the most anticipated conclusion to a fascinating villain, and the beginning, to what I can predict to be a great start to a series. In ‘Vampire Dreams’, though, Vasilije was not the main character, he left a lasting impression that you were unable to get out of your head. As a result, reading his story was exciting and it was everything I thought it would be.

This story was great for me, but although I was enjoying it, it is one of those stories that grips you with each chapter as the story develops. Vasilije’s character in ‘Blood Avenged’ was sensual, erotic, and dangerous. Often times when he got angry, it brought me back to the Vasilijie I remembered. As his character seeks revenge, he crosses path with, Sasa. Sasa is an empath, the gift of sensing ones emotion. Although Sasa and Vasilije’s coming together was one of deception, their chemistry physically and emotionally was unforgettable as well as the scenery the author created in New Orleans. Vasilije was also given a nemesis that was selfish, evil, and vengeful, that later gave us an excellent climax to the story.

Now, I have to admit, the epilogue was a bit funny and left an alluring cliff hanger to what will be an Archons and Sons of Navarus war that is brewing, which will be explained in the story. We are introduced to all eight of the Sons of Navarus and were given a bit of their personalities. With each character that I have read, I am now a little impatient for the next book in this series.

THOUGHTS
This was an exciting read for me. When the book was close to the end, I kept looking at the book length progress of my ebook device hoping it would not finish, the story for me personally was that engaging. I loved that the author detailed the backdrop of the brothers' history in the product preview. This was helpful because the moment you started the book it dove right into the story. Evan for me was a sexy character; he is that vampire that has seen a lot throughout his hundred years of living, so at that moment when he saw Marissa he knew what he wanted. Marissa was a very shy but not so shy character. As the story progress, she became more out spoken dealing with the issues that she might become a wolf. The book says erotica not sure I would classify as that but their intimate scenes were still good and hot.

I was so excited that we got to meet Aiden and Troy, they are just a bundle of vampire hotness. Aiden seems like the mature one but Troy, Troy was the cranky and mysterious one that has accumulated issues from his past as described in the book. I do not want to give away too much on him, but Troy is also a little different from his other two brothers. Finally yet importantly Marcus, He is the warden in-charge and who saved the brothers when they were turn so long ago. I do not know what the author as planned for Marcus in the upcoming books for Aiden and Troy but I demand a story to be written about Marcus. He entered the story mid way through but he left an impact.



HOT VAMPIRE SEDUCTION

This was definitely a great addition to the series and I enjoyed Aiden's story. Aiden and Kelly's story was good and kept me interested in what will happen next. With each brother's story, I get more involved with their underground world, law, and Marcus, their warden in-charge. It was great to read about Troy again, Aiden's brother who was an added bonus to the story. We definitely got a manipulative villain that created excitement to the storyline. I enjoyed the author's action sequences as they deliver and keeps your interest. As for the end, it was interesting and a pleasing solution to a problem *wink*.

Troy is a vampire after my own heart. I just know with his story Hot Vampire Touch; it is going to be bad, messy, and downright sexy. I am eager for more of Troy, not to take away from Aiden's story of course which was good.

Book three in the `Vampire Wardens' series did not disappoint. We have come to know Troy throughout this entire series, and his story was worth the wait. From the previous books, we've come to know he isn't like his brothers and he is a little different. After an eye opening performance in book two, I expected no less from him. While Troy is metamorphosing into something he can't explain, everyone tries to band together to help him.

As one chapter closes, another begins. This book brought out other characters that I am really looking forward to reading about. I am eager for Nico. Nico has proven he's worthy to be read in `The Werewolf Society' series, a spinoff of the `Vampire Warden' series, as noted above by the author. Nico is Alpha and an appetizer to what I predict to be another great series by the author; and judging by the epilogue, I can't wait.

THOUGHTS

This story was so good for me. The meshing of the different characters also is what made me fell in love with this story. Emily and Rydere’s relationship from start to finish kept my interest. The moment Rydere discovers Emily is his mate, he tries everything to please her and makes her happy, even sacrifice her leaving him to make her happy. Emily is taken hostage against her will, but finds it hard to fight her calling as Rydere’s mate.

The other characters that the author gave us that really made this read more interesting, was Emily’s cousins. Her cousin’s Jose, Mal and Mickey, were all taken as well by Rydere’s men, Cormac, Aodhah, and Theo. Each pair of the characters fascinated me and I didn’t want their story to end. It felt like a very dark updated version of the movie, ‘Seven brides for Seven brothers’. Weird analogy, I know, but that’s what it felt like.

I had few disappointments. I don’t know what the author has plan for the series, but I hope the author explores each pair individually with their own books. I felt that there are many untold stories to be told with all the characters. The ending, I enjoyed it but wanted there to be more. I was really aiming for 5 stars, but when I reached the last page I felt a bit disappointed; I felt I had to break a star in half. I am really looking forward to this series and hope it is going in the direction I see it going in.

On her journey to Corsova with Demi, she discovers who she really is.

THOUGHTS

I really enjoyed this book and the main characters, Anca and Demi. The moment the story started, it dives right into Anca and Demi’s encounter with each other. Anca is known to see the future and this is what makes the first two chapters peak my interest; her steamy and sexy visions of Demi. Both their chemistry was so exciting and made you feel giddy inside as well. I personally think it’s the way the author made them interact with each other that gave me that feeling. I really enjoyed the concept of the story, but I was in love with their love for each other and the erotic moments were a plus.

Throughout the story much was revealed about Anca’s past and future in Corsova, however, the author did keep the reader in suspense on the ritual and what the Blood Oath entailed. All was revealed in the end with the climax of the story that includes a female villain. Paranormal readers will really like this book; there is definitely a paranormal feel throughout the book as there are talks of vampire and wolves that ties in well with the Blood Oath. As for book two, I am really looking forward to it. We were introduced to Rica, very briefly, but he surely left an impact that leaves you a bit eager to read Blood Challenge book two.

In addition, to let the reader know, the book includes anal sex, so if that is not your interest I am letting the reader know.

There she will meet Brenda’s brother, Nic, the real saint Nic of Christmas.

THOUGHTS

I enjoyed this story and I also thought the story, and plot was interesting, which is also tied in with the fact that it’s also about vampires. Amiee was not use to the life that her best friend is living. She doesn’t have the finest clothes or money which shows after meeting Brenda’s family. Nic was a very sweet and loveable character, he was definitely grumpy at times, but that also added to the appeal of the story. I enjoyed Nic and Aimee’s first interaction with each other; it raised the level of interest between both characters. The vampire characteristic of Nic also added excitement to the scene. The book was very fast pace, especially after Amiee met Nic. Nevertheless, love the concept of what and who Nic really was.

Brenda’s family was also a good read. We already know about Nic, Jaysen is just as sexy and I adore Brenda and her parents. I have to admit, I hope the author will do a story for Brenda and Jaysen. A very quick read that readers will enjoy, there are a few editing errors, but it did not prevent me from enjoying the story. I look forward to more books by the author.

The Djinn's Dilemma took me by surprise. I think the glowing reviews that are posted so far should not be ignored for this book. It’s an entertaining read from Harlequin Nocturne Cravings. The books I have read so far from the Harlequin Nocturne Cravings are spicy and good.

Right away, Sarah and Rukh has this intense chemistry and attraction that I find appealing and good. Their first encounter was interesting, awkward, and entertaining. Rukh was extremely sexy and Sarah was very likable. We did get to find out a bit about each character’s background, which was helpful to the story. I loved their car moment scene; to be driving a car and accomplish what Rukh did to Sarah, was very impressive *wink*. Their intense motel scene was also not lacking. Between their sexual chemistry and the plot, the reader will not be disappointed. The plot that unfolds was engaging, with a villain that did not disappoint either.

This was a nice paranormal book. If you scroll down some more on this Amazon page, you will see a section called, Book Extras from the Shelfari Community. This gives a breakdown of the characters within the book and may be helpful to some.

I enjoyed the way the author fuses the erotica with paranormal aspect of the book. Normally, when reading a paranormal erotica, you do tend to have more erotica in most. With this story, there is a bit of a mystery involved, some action, and steamy chemistry between the main characters. Aidan definitely came off as a sexy firefighter and a sexier fae, who is a 100 years old. He also pulls you in, while you're reading about his character. Laenan is a professor, throughout the book she grew on me more. Both characters' dilemma with trying to stay away from each other brought out their need for passion, as they are trying to figure out the arsonist and their motives. I think it became more paranormal as the book progress further into the story.

Though I am interested in reading the series, I am really looking forward to Mike's story. Mike, though a firefighter, isn't a fae. I enjoyed reading about him and look forward to reading his story. I also enjoyed the other characters the author provided us with, as they will be in upcoming books.

THOUGHTS

‘Bound by the Vampire’ is the follow up novella to ‘Taming the Vampire’, and I thought it was a good story. ‘Bound by the Vampire’ was definitely more about the plot and story. I think the author gave us more of an in depth view of the Green Fae Clan.

The story dives right in, which is always a plus for me. Right away, it seems, Evan and Celia both are so opposite and yet it works within the plot. Evan is a rude, bad to the bone, and sexy vampire, and I loved his behavior. I also enjoyed his vampire tendencies throughout the book. Evan isn’t a fan of the faeries, because of what they did to his maker years ago, so helping Celia, may not come easy at first. Celia is quite and very reserved, although she is only part fae. We got to know about her a bit in book 1, Taming the Vampire. Her explanation on why she is being chased was deep, Fae realm, dreams, and absinthe, it all ties in together. We also got to know a bit about the infamous assassin, Hawk, who is trying to kill her. I can only see good things taking place if there is to be a third book. I enjoyed seeing Liz and Jack again. They were an interesting twist that gave the end the push it needed.

THOUGHTS

This story had different layers for me that I loved and a few times had me doing a *eye roll*. With saying that, I think the author did give us an entertaining story, which unfolds into a nice plot.

Ellie was on a date that turned out to be the longest night of her life. Between her rude date, and her first encounter with Rylek, things went from zero to a ten very quickly. Rylek's attraction to Ellie was voracious and strong, that within the first two chapters, it sets the pace for the rest of the book. Before making Ellie his mate, Rylek had a few reservations, as vulfen males mate with vulfen females. It was unheard of for an Alpha vulfen male mating with a human female. With their sexual heat, mating, and trying to find a traitor amongst the vulfen clans, this was an interesting read.

Apart from enjoying the story, at times, I found Ellie and Rylek’s dialogue to be a bit silly, but you couldn’t help but laugh and just enjoy the book for what it is. I was also a bit confused by the mentioning of fangs a lot, as I associate fangs with my vampire books. I honestly thought Rylek had vampire tendencies with a mix of werewolf. Nevertheless, I have to admit, I’m interested in reading book 2 in the series.

I am beginning to love this series and the concept of what the story entails. This is the first book in the series; I read book two ‘Mated to the Werewolf’ first and now I have the pleasure of enjoying book one. I look forward to book three, should there be another book in the series.

Mara is one of triplet sisters, who will gain her power by the age of twenty-one. Mara was captured, held captive and tortured for what she is, a half demon. Determine on revenge that could possible bring her dark side to dominate her, leads Lucian to find her before it's too late. Lucian is a powerful Ancient and a vampire. He is everything you would expect a vampire to be; a little dangerous and seductive. His goal of needing to mate with Mara was entertaining. Their chemistry together got better as the story flowed, and it's my taste in how I like my paranormal books. Not only does the author gives the surroundings a paranormal feel, but the characters physical characteristics are as well. The author gave a bit of action that was also pleasing to read. The story is fast paced, but still likeable. However, I do feel it gets better with book two, ‘Mated to the Werewolf’.

This is the second book that I have read by Gabrielle Bissest. It's very different from Vampire Dreams which I loved but Stolen Destiny was very entertaining. I found myself enthralled with the storyline. I couldn't believe the turn of events that took place mid way through the book, I surely was not expecting it. That's a good thing for me because it wasn't predictable as I thought it would be.

Stolen Destiny is about Varek and Callia who are Aeveren, different from humans but they coexist together. Varek has been serving prison time on Nil for murder. The council on Nil has summoned Varek for a mission to capture a killer on the lose in New Hope, New York in exchange for his freedom. Varek accepts and is transported to New Hope. Callia spends her time working at the orphanage in New Hope caring for the kids. As an Aeveren, Callia, has spent seven lifetimes not finding her destined one. Faith has brought Varek and Callia together as they are each others destined one. Varek fights this feeling at first because of his past but eventually has accepted Callia has his destined one. With the help of Callia and Amon another Aeveren, Varek is able to solve who the killer is that is killing Aeverens at the orphanage.

Varek is a guy who feels like he isn't worthy enough for Callia. The past haunts him because of his first destined one. Varek is a sweet guy once his walls comes tumbling down. Callia is a sweet heart, she feels rejected at first because she thinks Varek doesn't want her, as Aeveren are different from humans and she has waited seven lifetimes to find her one. After a struggle with his feelings both has found happiness. But the story doesn't end there, it's like a soap opera what happens next.

Amon, who helps to capture this killer has his own motives for helping Varek. Amon, is a powerful Aeveren who has lived 47 lifetimes and can manipulate time. I won't give too much away but he is obsess with Callia and figures out a way to get her for himself. It's up to Varek to find his destined one and get her back. I will say this about Amon, he is a bad guy but I kind of like him and felt sorry for him. You can sense he really loved Callia. After feeling empty for so long he just lost it.

For me personally I really enjoyed the read, it has a fantasy/paranormal read to it. If that's your thing then I think you will enjoy it.

I definitely found myself drawn to the story and world the author created. I think Eva and Andreas’s attraction to each other within the story had a life of its own, as though it was a character from the book. They both had a cat and mouse game from the beginning that the author maintains until their lust took over.

Eva has a past that allows her to be the way she is as a hunter. Andreas, I thought was a good leader to his coven. The issues that he felt he had with his father also was an interesting read. The dilemma each character face, the hunter, and the hunted, came to an entertaining climax that I enjoyed. Apart from the attraction, other issues came into play that will not leave the reader bored. There are also other characters that gave life to the story. Natasha, who is head of security at the crypt, Andreas’s club and Aristotle, Andrea’s father.

The author gave us paranormal throughout the book; however, depending on the book, sometimes for my paranormal taste, I wanted a bit more paranormal tendencies with the vampires’ physical appearance.

This was a good paranormal book, that surprised me. Though the preview of the book explains Grayson's need to mate with Samantha, the plot had more to it than the oblivious.

The Society for Elimination of Malevolent Magick, assigned Grayson the task of hunting Samantha. Samantha is one of triplet sisters, who gains her power by the age of twenty one. With this power, she shows evil tendencies from her dark side that needs to be maintained. Nevertheless, this dark side consumes her with hunting down the killer who she believes killed her parents. What I liked about Samantha's character is that even though she had a strong exterior, she was still innocent in many things.

Grayson is a lone werewolf without a pack, a bounty hunter, an empath healer, and an Ancient. After hunting Samantha, his new assignment, to mate with her to eradicate her demon powers. Apart from his assignment, Grayson had many issues that he had to deal with, that will play out throughout the story. I loved his character’s personality. Apart from being sexy, he had a very serious humor, if that makes any sense. He was always serious, but his delivery of what he says comes out funny and effortless.

The story is not just about the mating, between Grayson and Samantha, as there are other issues at play, which brings everything together. I found the ending to be very pleasing and interesting, when the climax of the story took place, and everything came together. Without giving anything away, I also found it interesting what the author did to Grayson’s character, in regards to both characters intimacy in a particular scene.

This was a good paranormal novella. I found myself caught up in the storyline and the issue at hand. The author created a town that seems unusual to humans, but yet intriguing to read about. Jenica, is a gypsy/witch, and is dreading her future with Malone, the alpha of his pack, who has returned home. Neither seems to want to be the others mate, but it needs to be done on October 31. If not mated, the wolves of the town can transform at will, that could destroy the town, and the protection set in place centuries ago will be demolish.

Malone was quite the character in this story. Though he seems to have hostility towards Jenica and his predicament, he was your typical werewolf alpha male, sexy, and possessive. He doesn't say much or do much in the beginning, but his presence was definitely known. Jenica was young and a bit naive, but in time, knew what she had to do.

I enjoyed the other supporting characters in the story. I thought they gave it that added excitement as you read along. One of the characters I would love to read more about is, Naomi, Jenica's best friend, who is half a wolf. I definitely think a story based on her character would be interesting as well. I also think the story is sexy, but you get a good storyline that you can enjoy as well.

Aside from the review, I think the author has a very talented imagination when writing paranormal. Same concept, different story by most, but I think she has a unique way of telling her stories.

However, his temptation of Colette upsets the overlord and brings about punishment.

THOUGHTS

This erotica paranormal will not disappoint a hardcore erotica fan. As much as I enjoyed this book, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but at one point within the book, there was so much sex that I could empathize with Colette by feeling drained and exhausted. I liked that this was a historical paranormal book; there are also no bad guys or sworn enemies to fight within this paranormal story.

The moment Colette and her family were held captive started the story for me. Colette was surely the strongest member of her family, thus, sacrificing herself to Zuri, for their freedom. Zuri was surely a mysterious demon throughout the book and that added a nice appeal. Though he captured Colette, along with her family to appease his overlord, he knew he had to have Colette which upsets his overlord. I thought the story was fair and the sex very extreme. Why I found the sex to be too much at one point in the book, because Colette was being punished and it was continuous within the scene. Though it felt continuous, I don't think it took away or overshadowed the plot of the story.

I gave this book a rating of 3.95 stars, almost a 4, which is still a nice read. The story gave me a feel of more a mystery with unraveling secrets and romance. The town of Eden had a twilight zone feel to it. It had so many secrets.

Zach eagerly awaits his mate " The One" for a long time. The moment he saw Charlene he knew she was the one. He knew he would become the pack leader and needs her by his side, but he still had to wait for her to move to Eden. With feeling the pressure of taking care of her brother and the piling debts, Charlene decided to move back to her mother's town. With the help of Jethro and Rebekkah, Charlene will discover the truth about her family and who she really is. I did enjoy reading the chemistry between Zach and Charlene. The build up to her knowing who and what she is, and the town’s secret was interesting.

THOUGHTS
Destiny Redeem was another wonderful and detailed story telling. The author has a very special way of incorporating more than romance to her stories. She gives you characters that you either love, or love to hate with an interesting twist. Before reading Destiny Redeem, I would advise the reader to read Stolen Destiny first. I think this book would be able to stand alone, but reading Stolen Destiny first would allow you to have a better experience while reading Destiny Redeem. You are able to get a better understanding of the Aeveren culture and the history of Amon. Reading the second book, the author knows how to make a bad boy good. Amon was a complete turnaround from the previous book. He was more vulnerable and a pleasure to read. Thea's opening scene was memorable; you can’t come between a man and his sports, no matter what you do. As an Aeveren healer, she has lived 45 lifetimes without finding her destine one. Her chemistry with Amon was good and they both needed each other. The plot of the story that involves Thea's safety and Amon being an escape prisoner was exciting to read, as there is always a twist.

We were able to read nice supporting characters, mainly Grethen and Markku. They were definitely an interesting read. For me personally, the more I read about Markku the more appealing he became. I would love to see a story based around his character.

This is book 2 in the Demons Unleashed Erotic Novellas stories and I enjoyed book 2 a little better than book 1. Book 1 was a nice read but I enjoyed the plot in book 2. In the beginning certain things that were said seems to be repeated a lot for me but that was ok with me. Gaap and Lili's chemistry was definitely good and kept my interest. Towards the end, it was an interesting climax to the story when things started to unfold. Zepar, Demon of Seduction who also appeared in book 1, again teased me just reading about him. Being the Demon of Seduction I am eager to read more about him and see where the author takes his character. I also look forward to Leraye, Demon of Battle he was interesting character as well.

You will like this book if you like your paranormal with good erotica and a bit of action and plot; however, I would say this book was extremely erotic. It contains explicit sex and language.

I gave this book 3.5 stars, which is still a nice read. However, this book has Demons and a lot of talk about Faes. If you are looking for an action packed read this may not be your thing. However, if you're looking for an erotica with a demon with a bit of plot then this is your book. Amara has had a rough life with her husband and detest him with a passion. Vetis was an interesting demon; his scenes with Amara were erotic and nice. Reading the book from start to finish felt like a long foreplay between the characters, though Amara had a lot of emotional damage to get over. We were introducd to Zepar, Demon of Seduction. He was a nice mix between Vetis and Amara.

THOUGHTS
The product preview for this book is good but I don't think it does this book justice. I thought the story would be a certain way from reading the preview but it turned out to be a great start to a good series. The book had a certain simplicity to it in the beginning but later on as the story progress the characters and plot spoke volumes. The characters were all interesting for me. Katherine, Elena's mother seemed a bit cold but has a few secrets of her own. Amy and Mary are very important characters, as I believe their stories will be next. Pueblo seems to be a possessive and sexy demon and I think his story with Amy will be interesting. Karl is Elena's best friend. I have to admit I was not sure what to think of Karl but scene after scene he became sexier. After Karl's ordeal with Elena before and after, previous scenes started to make sense and came together. His role within the story was truly an unexpected surprise and added some excitement for me. Gwain was an interesting character as well; I just wanted to point that out. Saying what his role is will probably give away some of the plot. Lastly, the Shanka demon, Nathaniel, he is a villain need I say more.

I enjoyed the book and l'm looking forward to book 2 to see where the author takes Amy and Pueblo's story.

THOUGHTS
This book started out really good. I even loved the concept and the action; it had a comic book feel going on with a sort of superheroes kind of feel. Lalah and her family are shifters. After being kidnapped, she finds herself being rescued by Junjie. Junjie was sexy as I read his description in the book. The action and mission that both Lalah and Junjie had to do was interesting as you got to meet more members of PHOENIX which consist of a telekinetic, sorceress, and shifter. I like the interracial mix of this book Asian/Black.

What I did not like was the romance. As this is a novella, the story was going at a fast pace so the romance between Junjie and Lalah fell flat. I think the actually plot which is good and creating so many characters put the romance on the back burner. That part of the read did not fulfill me the way I wanted it to. I'm still debating reading book two in the series.

This was definitely a great addition to the series and I enjoyed Aiden’s story. Aiden and Kelly’s story was good and kept me interested in what will happen next. With each brother’s story, I get more involved with their underground world, law, and Marcus, their warden in-charge. It was great to read about Troy again, Aiden’s brother who was an added bonus to the story. We definitely got a manipulative villain that created excitement to the storyline. I enjoyed the author’s action sequences as they deliver and keeps your interest. As for the end, it was interesting and a pleasing solution to a problem *wink*.

Troy is a vampire after my own heart. I just know with his story Hot Vampire Touch; it is going to be bad, messy, and downright sexy. I am eager for more of Troy, not to take away from Aiden's story of course which was good.

This might be a novella but it packed a good read for the length of the book. Even though Liz and Jack seem to dislike each other, it brought out good chemistry that readers will love. Jack's verbal witty attacks towards Liz were cute. Only Liz and Jack can say I hate you so many times and make it sounds so sexy. Needing to battle, the threat Liz and Jack needs to perform a ritual to become stronger. What the ritual entails gets an A+ from me. Once their moment came to initiate the ritual I had stages of enjoyment. First, an awkward moment, then an entertaining moment, and lastly a very hot sexy moment. The action towards the end was pleasing and I enjoyed Liz's best friend, Celia; hope we read about her in book 2.

I have no dislikes other than I wanted more of his vampire tendencies to be used a bit earlier on in the beginning.

THOUGHTS
This was my first book by Celia Jade and I enjoyed it. I think tweaked more this could be turned into a good series. Even though this is a novella, I still got a good read from the book. Macy's character was enjoyable, though her choices and debt stems from deep-rooted issues from her past. Dean was so sexy and I enjoyed reading about his character. Dean being a Teig hunter was interesting and wanted to read more about that. As for their intimate scenes a quote from the book, "Can I take you hard and fast the first time, Macy?" That should tell you it's a spicy read and did not disappoint sexually.

What I didn't like was the paranormal aspect of the read. It was a paranormal read but it wasn't a hardcore paranormal read; it's more on the light side with erotica. I wanted the author to be more in-depth regarding Dean's race and play with that idea more in the book. At times while reading I almost forgot that Dean was of a specific race. Other than that, I personally enjoyed the book and wish it continued into a series. I will definitely be reading more of this author's work.

This is my second book by this author. I really enjoyed her first book Warlord. I have to give credit to most of the indie authors who self publish their work. It gives readers like me a chance to discover authors that I would probably never have gotten the chance to have known if they are not using a publishing company. Both books in regards to plot and romance are ok and I think with more books to come the author will become even better with growth (and no I do not know the author but I have been reading a lot of independent self publish author's lately).

With saying that, I enjoyed this book. It has a paranormal feel with vampires in the story but these vampires are a little different from what I normally read. The first couple of chapters are sexual and explicit with a bit of spanking. These are Abby's dreams with Lysander and then with her husband, so the opening of the book was very interesting. The storyline kept my interest while the plot was unfolding on who Abby and her Husband really were and their involvement with Lysander. The closest thing I can compare the book to to give the reader an idea on what it is like, it is like the movie The Mummy with Brandon Frasier in some ways but not in every aspect of the book. Now, if you are a diehard vampire erotica fan, I do not know how you will feel about the book. While I thought, the book was good there were not as much neck sucking and other little things that you would normally read about with other vampire books but I still liked it. The only thing I will say is I am not a fan of the cover, because normally the cover is sometimes a deciding factor in purchasing a book. The cover is what draws you in. Do not judge the book by its cover; it was a nice read I think personally.

The spell is cast to prevent anyone from remembering Sabrine, as Ciar’s mother did not want him to mate with her. The spell made you forget who Sabrine is once around her or if she is touched. Now that Ciar has found Sabrine he will try everything he can to find a way to reverse the spell.

This was a nice short quick read. I was a little worried in the beginning with talks of love and missing each other with Sabrine and Ciar; I thought this would be the whole book. After reading more, it became more interesting with the curse, Sabrine, and Ciar not being able to touch each other. It is another one of those books that you wish was a little longer but it was definitely about the curse and romance between Ciar and Sabrine.

All three brothers are Wardens, vampires who hunt those who prey on humans. When the council got word of a werewolf killer, they sent Evan and his brothers to track the werewolf down.
While working at a bar on the lookout for information, Evan encounters Marissa, who he instantly feels an attraction to. Marissa is the key to the next victim attack. While trying to protect Marissa, she was bitten and became infected by the werewolf. Evan gave Marissa some of his blood so the virus of the werewolf will not infect her fully. Doing this Evan broke the council law, which is punishable by death; he bonded with a human. He needs to hunt down the werewolf and kill it before the next full moon as the virus will take over Marissa and she will become a killer werewolf. They also have to worry about the council and what they might do to Evan for bonding with Marissa.

This was an exciting read for me. When the book was close to the end, I kept looking at the book length progress of my ebook device hoping it would not finish, the story for me personally was that engaging. I loved that the author detailed the backdrop of the brothers’ history in the product preview. This was helpful because the moment you started the book it dove right into the story. Evan for me was a sexy character; he is that vampire that has seen a lot throughout his hundred years of living, so at that moment when he saw Marissa he knew what he wanted. Marissa was a very shy but not so shy character. As the story progress, she became more out spoken dealing with the issues that she might become a wolf. The book says erotica not sure I would classify as that but their intimate scenes were still good and hot.

I was so excited that we got to meet Aiden and Troy, they are just a bundle of vampire hotness. Aiden seems like the mature one but Troy, Troy was the cranky and mysterious one that has accumulated issues from his past as described in the book. I do not want to give away too much on him, but Troy is also a little different from his other two brothers. Finally yet importantly Marcus, He is the warden in-charge and who saved the brothers when they were turn so long ago. I do not know what the author as planned for Marcus in the upcoming books for Aiden and Troy but I demand a story to be written about Marcus. He entered the story mid way through but he left an impact.

Rico is a vampire who once lived on earth before it no longer existed; he also runs a space cruiser with a small crew. He will accept Sylar's request and do the job for the money and of course if she agrees to include herself in the deal.

I enjoyed this read along with the plot as well as the characters. I love Rico's sense of humor and I thought his description was so sexy with a hint of bad boy, his captain Tannis, she is so feisty and always cranky but still sexy. Al and Janey were also a good fit. Sylar hired Rico but she was also a nice addition on baoard is ship. The beginning I found to be ok but once everything including the plot started to unfold, it got entertaining for me. Everything you will read in the beginning will eventually unfold into an exciting twist that will keep your eyes glued. I cannot wait to read a follow up by the author.

I was browsing through amazon and came across this book. I bought it not realizing it said book 2, so I did not read book one. I took a chance on the book even though the product preview seem more like an excerpt from the book.

This was a good read for me. I was annoyed when I had to put down my book to do things because I wanted to read it straight through. Even though I didn't read book 1, I was able to have an idea what happen from book2. The author made sure to give brief descriptions on what took place previously.

Basically, Sarah's family has been responsible for the vampires within the containment field on their property for the past 5 generations. This is to prevent other vampires or any other supernatural thing from getting in. With this generation the responsibility is placed on Sarah. Her mom is a vampire and she is trying to protect her sister, Katie, because of her ordeal in book 1. As for Michael and Alex, when you think it will go one way it goes another. The author surely kept me on my toes while reading. I'm so into Alex. The other characters definitely brought a good read to the story as well. I will be looking out for book 3.

Not sure if I'll be reading book1 but I'm eagerly awaiting book3.

I know my style of books that I'm into when I'm reading. One of the types that I always enjoyed reading is the whole captive romance concept, they always intrigued me. This read for me had a sci fi / vampire feel to it, with a mix of erotica. Just to let the readers know, its sexually graphic..

Madison is on her way home, when she is taken by aliens. Afraid and wanting to go home, she is then taken and prep for a slavery auction were humans are considered prize slaves and expensive. , Madison goes to Jul, at a high price. Jul and his friend Rex is walking through the market when he spots Madison and decides to purchase the human slave. Rex , his friend is surprised by his decision as it is out of his character.

When Jul takes Madison home, soon being his slave turns into a desire so strong neither Jul or Madison can ignore. Jul also realizes the taste of Madison brings out a power that he first thought was a myth but now knows is real. Knowing this, he has to keep what she is capable of to himself and those closest to him. But soon jealously leads to betrayal by one of those in his circle.

I do enjoy the author's style of writing and creativity with her books. With this story the mix of sci fi/vampire like read was no different. I personally enjoyed the short novella and the story being told. In a way I was expecting Jul to be more stern as a capturer, but he was a sweet heart and really cared for Madison. Madison's dilemma in wanting to go home but now seems to be in love with Jul was a good read. I enjoy the twist at the end as well.

I believe this is the author's first book and I have to say I really enjoyed it. The fact that it’s a new author and there were no reviews yet, I wasn't sure if I wanted to take the chance. I thought it would have been more of mythology kind of read, but either way I loved it. My eyes were glued to my book as the story unfolds. I would say the story is a mix of Paranormal, Time Travel, Historical, and Erotica with a bit of Contemporary if that makes sense.

Sara was with her friends having a night out when she awoken in the stone room. Her only way of escape is to overcome her deepest fears and resist her desires to stay alive. This is shown to her with the pool of desire and fear. Sara is then found and taken to a distant land not of her time as a slave. She is then chosen as a slave to service the warlord, Arystan, the leader of his clan. By this point, Sara remembers her name but not where she is from. Arystan, is a hard warrior who has a defense built up towards anyone. He himself knows that his use of women is to just take from them, then discard them. He starts to fall for Sara bit by bit while trying to defeat his enemy Bayuan in battle. In time, all will be reveal with Bayuan, Sara and Arystan.

I have to admit, while reading the beginning I didn't know where the story was taking me. I debated if I should stop reading. However, as I got into the story I became more engaged. I think for me personally my excitement begun when Sara was captured and her interaction began with Arystan. I enjoyed their sexual encounters, which is very graphic. I enjoyed so many parts to the story and it's storylines. Rainura was a great addition half way through the book. Rainura was jealous of the growing relationship between Arystan and Sara; she wanted Arystan to come back to her and her bed. She plotted to have her way, which gave us another twist.

Towards the end, it became even more entertaining for me personally, when Arystan came close to defeating Bayuan, but Sara became taken over by the chernyi tuman/ the black mist and he races to save the woman he loves with the time line to be with her. I loved it and the end was wonderful as well. Cheers to the author on what I think is a good read.

With this read, I definitely got my money's worth. Between the stone, sex marathon, The Marquis De Sade and the characters, I got an enjoyable read. The author is slowly growing on me, as this is my second book by the author.


Ok, here it goes, hopefully I don't sound confusing. It started out with Dell, a hired thief who is suppose to steal from another thief, Glory. He wants to steal a stone that is more than a stone, that is obviously of some value because everyone chose that night to want to steal it. Dell has caught up to Glory and wants her to hand over the stone. With a little scuffling and gun fire between a third person, Dell was unsuccessful with getting the stone.

In the mist of all this, Glory fainted and Dell had to rescue her and take her back to his apartment. When Glory woke up, she was in Dell's apartment, within a milli second something happens and Glory started acting like a horny human vibrator then all hell broke lose, in a physical horny sense. I read one of the weirdest and exciting sexual encounters. The stone has controlled both Dell and Glory sexually. Based on the stones origin and what it's capable of doing it was apart of The Marquis De Sade. I don't want to say too much but that stone is one hell of a stone, the things those two did while in possession of the stone was crazy. Now with the stone being transferred back and forth within Dell and Glory, both must find a way and retrieve the stone or they could die if it's inside them for any length of time.

A very nice read, it was interesting and very pleasurable at times. It definitely caught your interest from the first chapter. I have to say it was also sex-citing, not a word I know, but that's the best way I can describe it. Then during the climax of the book, it turns in to a soap opera, this one is really somebody else, that one betray that one and this one was using that one. Hence, the title "Revealed" all the manipulation and sex-apades had me going ga ga in a good way. I got attached to both characters and that was nice for me.

What a nice read this was. I really wasn't sure what to expect but I really and truly enjoyed the read. I always had the author on my to read list when we spoke, but shamelessly, I put off reading any of the books because I was already swamped with books to read. I started reading not knowing what to expect and found my self talking back to my ebook reading device.


Belle is a firefighter for an elite force called the Hotshots, she always had a thing for fires as long as she could remember. But as soon as she joined the force her nightmares began and they became more intense as time goes by. They then started to include her co-worker Saxon, who she really dislikes, she thinks he's cute but she really disliked him as well. The dreams becomes more sensual, and she isn't able to explain it. The only person she felt was her friend being that she is a female firefighter is Buck, another co worker. The more time goes on, the more Belle becomes confuse and thinks she's going crazy with her dreams and voices she hears, which are that of Saxon and Buck. But in time all becomes clear and she starts remembering who she is and the realm.

I was reading the book and wasn't sure were it was leading to, or what was going on, because the way it ends and the way it starts you wouldn't think the book would turn out the way it did. Whenever Belle would feel confused, I empathized with her, because I was yelling what's going on, why is she dreaming, what's the connection and why are these two guys competing for her? Belle best described her dreams when she said she feels as though she is in a Cleopatra fantasy and a Roman nightmare. A very enjoyable read for me, especially towards the middle onwards. Saxon, was so sexy and I enjoy his humor and his sensuality. Buck was fun as well and I can't wait for his story.

As much as I feel in my reads intimacy and the story has to balance out each other, the storyline did it for me in this book.

Love the interracial paranormal shifter read. What I love about the read was the chase or cat and mouse game played between Joi and Ari. Joi was down on her luck with no job and money to pay bills until her best friend secretly got her a job on the exclusive cruse . Ari is a shifter and alpha male of his pack as well as the captain for the annual hollween cruse. Ari sees Joi as apart of the working crew and knows immediately that she is his life mate, of course Joi puts up a resistance.


In the mist of the tug of war between Joi and Ari of course Joi finally gives in and when these two got together it was explosive sex and everything, though when Ari told Joi he was a shifter and wolf I'm surprise she was a little more frighten. I would love to see a story for Joi's best friend and Ari's sister, even though in the book Joi mention briefly that she has a brother she does not talk to maybe Ari's sister and the brother should come together, just saying.

Quick short read not too short not too long, I enjoyed the read..





Vampire Dreams by Gabrielle Bisset

WOW, what an amazing read, this is why I love vampire erotica stories, as much as you love a dangerous vampire it's mainly about the sensuality and seduction of a vampire that makes you enjoy the read. I have never read anything by this author as she is new, but when an author can amaze you with their first release you know you can expect only more good reading material.


Arden was homeless on the streets, in the opening scene of the book she is being chase by a man, as she desperately tries to escape she is stopped by another man Brandon, who then rescues her, that alone engaged me immediately, also as to the way he rescues her is very very interesting. Brandon then offers Arden a job as a maid in his home where he sensually and seductively seduces Arden in her sleep at nights until he can fully have her, Brandon seems to be a sexy vampire who is lonely and who wants to have a companion to share his life with, Arden is a very shy and eager to please woman who falls in love with Brandon. As I said this book is why I/you would love vampire romances, it's a short novella that's to the point, you have vampires, sex, seduction and a little scuffling between vampires. Very good read and I am impatiently waiting on the author's follow up books being release the ending of June and July.

Very entertaining book 2 in this series and it was enjoyable. The book didn't only focus on the main characters Tania and Huge, it gave us a bit of everyone from the first book. I liked that it was very entertaining felt connected to both characters.

Lycan's Surrender by Jaci Burton

I loved Lycan and Starr's story. Lycan was a true warrior, leader and sexy, Starr was a very fierce warrior as well and a good leader to her people even though most of the time she spoke about freedom (whole point of the book) which got a little annoying at times it was still interesting to read about both characters. I hope there will probably be but I don't think there will be a story for lycan's friend Tor and Starr's cousin Rhia. I must say though Tor did get annoying sometimes heheheh but it was a good book and read for me and I love the bit of action in the end.

I love the 3rd book in the Kismet collection I enjoyed Trista and Braedon's story as the series go on I hope there will be a story about the twins I like it more while i'm still getting to know this author so far her books have been good for me. As for the story i liked everything about it i would give the sex 2 thumbs up...

BUTTTT....during one of their sexacape they or should I say Braedon got realllllly adventurous and freaky it kind of widen my wides while reading it but i totally went along with it and I still loved the book. I have another book from the author that i will try out but for me with this author so far so good

I loved it, I love sexy, erotic vampire books this one delivered, the moment Richard sees Lily he knew she was the one for him he wanted to get to know her be around her he even became a little obsess with her. Her father was no good and hated Richard but in order to have Lily he struck a deal with her father to begin courting her. Don't know if this is a spoiler but I love the sections of the book where he would visit her at nights by going through her window he would have his little way with her and she had no clue because she always thought she was dreaming. It's a good read and you can't go wrong with a good vampire erotic romance sex between them was good as well.

Larrisa and Dante were good together. Larissa felt connected to the woods but could not explain her pull, in comes Dantie who is her guardian and protector from a far who she is not aware of and is a wolf a sexy one at that. Their first encounter was steamy good and it only got better. I enjoy the quick read and i was entertain by the whole wolf vampire guardian thing that brought this book together that's my personal opinion. I am beginning to read more and more of this authors work and find myself enthrall by her short stories and style of writing these stories.




Vampires and Mistletoe by Ashlynn Monroe

I really enjoyed this story. The author goes in depth with the characters so you get a sense of who they really are. Tessa is part demon and part human and her goal is to rebel against her father who is the ruler of the demon world, she lives as a human in the human world also another way to rebel against him. Tessa's life is in danger and her father sent a vampire to protect her who is Gideon and he is a sexy vampire. Tessa and Gideon were good together and the sex was good, Tessa's mother such a disappointment to know what happen to her that's a mean mommy. You also might be wondering what the title have to do with the book put upon reading it it will make more sense towards the end.






Big Girls Don't Die by Crystal Jordan

Just finish reading this book got it for free so I really can't complain. The book is a short quick read it wasn't prefect and it wasn't great it falls in between. It starts out very enticing but dwindle just a tiny bit for me it went from A to M instead of A to B. Cyn was bitten by Andrea the first night they hooked up because he knew she was the one his mate and didn't want to wait when the time was right. Cyn was angry that he did this (she wasn't that angry i think personally), now they need to adjust to each other as well as get to know each other which brings out surprising information about both of them. I personally think it was OK and I've read worst books that are free so if your looking for a quickie something to kill time then this is for you and by the way the sex wasn't that bad either.

Additional info added: I see this is the 2nd book in a series so maybe that's why I was a little lost with the werewolf and other things in the story.

I have to say this first, with all the immortals, vampires & werewolves book out there the concept/plot starts to get water down somewhat and then you lose interest. This book was a breath of fresh air what the author gave us.

The book is about this group of men who are like immortals that seem like vampires but are not who hunts down vampires, hope that was not confusing. In the group of men this book's story is about Roland one of the immortals and Sarah. The way the book started was great a little action to start the book out and from then on it amazingly flowed through to the end. Roland is so strong and tough-on the outside and tall and sexy but on the inside *sighing* fan me now ladies but on the inside wow, I love his character and how the author connect you to Roland, he was sensitive, not trusting but his connection to Sarah was great. Sarah that is one bad £%¥ chick, she is independent and strong as well in the beginning how she use that gun lol to try and help Marcus and Roland, she has a very good character. That is the action as for the romance between Roland and Sarah was amazing, there build up was also great. The author was also very good in detailing the world that they live, the step by step of each chapter.

You get to read the a little about the other men of this group and I loved that it makes you want their stories more, this story had humor, action and romance and I would surely recommend. Good job to the author for bringing us a paranormal romance that I can bare to read.





To Tame a Werewolf by Myra Nour

I seem to be reading interesting books today. This was a good read but the wolf form sex thing had me saying different strokes for different folks. But apart from that I can put that aside and say I liked the read. I think this is a small series called River of Dreams. I'm curious about the other book enough to want to read it.

Angela has been fantasizing about being taken by a werewolf. She made a wish, when she was at the River of Dreams about getting her own werewolf, but who knew it would come true. While on a drive home with fellow professor Connor, they got stuck in a blizzard and has to seek shelter in a cabin until the blizzard passes. Being stuck with Connor becomes clear why he is always moody and a little mean to her.

I definitely like the read for this book. Though there are no bad guys to fight in this paranormal read, it's about Connor trying to control his inner wolf while being stuck in a cabin with Angela. Connor was mysterious in the beginning of the read, which is kind of sexy. He is trying his best to keep Angela away from him, but she is making it difficult as she wants Connor really bad. Connor would always see Angela around the University and fantasize about her. But keeping her away is better, because mating with humans was rare and could be dangerous. The only thing that the reader might find weird is the mating. Connor was in human and wolf form at times when they were mating.

The book seems short but every page turned was around 13 KB a turn, so you get a good hour read from the book.
